  Tie Dye Techniques Ombre Tie Dye Technique A spray bottle helps you use the ombre tie dye technique on fabric. This technique shows a gradu al change in color shade by adding water to the dye. Instructions Add Water to the Bottle Prewash fabric to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Do not dry dress. Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth. Lay damp dress on prepared surface. Wearing rubber gloves, add water to dye bottle. Replace cap tightly. Shake until dye is dissolved.
